Les traigo algunas fotos y pruebas realizadas de la nueva ASUS Maximus VII Gene. Esta placa base pertenece a la serie ROG de ASUS, enfocada a entusiastas gamer y overclockers.
Veremos si esta nueva versión sigue la línea de las anteriores, sumamente poderosas y con un precio más accesible.
Utiliza el chipset Z97, el recientemente lanzado por Intel junto a los procesadores Haswell Refresh, es por ello que haremos las pruebas con un procesador de esta serie.

Arrancamos las pruebas sobre la ASUS Maximus VII Gene utilizando refrigeración líquida, luego pasaremos a las pruebas más extremas con nitrógeno líquido.

Como queda evidenciado en las capturas, la placa cuenta con un potencial de overclock excepcional en todos los aspectos (CPU y RAM), resultando el CPU el único factor limitante con la refrigeración líquida.
Pronto pasaré a utilizar LN2 y veremos hasta dónde puede llegar este pequeño monstruo!!!
