The Ghost Blade – A brand new shooter for Dreamcast (http://thatdamnpixel.wordpress.com/2013/03/14/the-ghost-blade-a-brand-new-shooter-for-dreamcast/) (http://thatdamnpixel.wordpress.com/2013/03/14/the-ghost-blade-a-brand-new-shooter-for-dreamcast/) http://thatdamnpixel.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/ghost-blade-teaser.jpg?w=490 (http://thatdamnpixel.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/ghost-blade-teaser.jpg)
After Sturmwind (and our preview (http://thatdamnpixel.wordpress.com/2013/03/12/tdp-preview-sturmwind/) and the news about the long-waited release date (http://thatdamnpixel.wordpress.com/2013/03/14/sturmwind-gets-a-release-date/)) here’s another brand new game for the beloved SEGA Dreamcast.
It is called The Ghost Blade and it is made by Hucast Games, a German indie developer known for their previous Dreamcast title: Redux: Dark Matters.
What is about? This is what we know from Hucast Games official blog (http://hucastgames.wordpress.com/2013/01/11/the-ghost-blade-new-caravan-shooting-game-sega-dreamcast/):
Another ace shoot ‘em up for the Sega Dreamcast with focus on arcade action joy and elaborate scoring system. And various player ships to choose from and a load of game modes, such as 5 stage game mode or challenging caravan game mode and last but not least: time attack.
The game will also feature online score leaderboard via code and the possibility to choose between two screen settings: TATE ( “3:4”) and YOKO (“4:3”).

The release date is still TBA, but the game will be available in two versions, standard and the CE (picture below). The Collector Edition (limited to only 300 copies) will feature an exclusive cover art, a different in-game title screen, a 24-pages artbook, the soundtrack CD, a SuperPlay DVD and a sticker set.
